This training course enables manufacturers of industrial system components to better understand the IEC 62443 standard that specifically applies to them.
IEC 62443 Training Goals
This training covers the development cycle defined by IEC 62443-4-1 as well as the technical requirements (IEC 62443-4-2). Participants will also discover the general context of the standard and understand how their products integrate into the IACS system safety ecosystem, in order to better meet the expectations of their operator and integrator customers.
Upon completion of the training, the learner will be able to :
- Identify the challenges and specificities of cybersecurity for industrial systems (OT vs. IT)
- Understand the structure of the IEC 62443 standard and the manufacturer's responsibilities towards operators and integrators
- Better understand the implementation of a secure development cycle compliant with IEC 62443-4-1
- Better understand the implementation of the technical security requirements of IEC 62443-4-2
- Better understand the product certification process
