A true electronic translator for communicating your equipment
ISI-GTW is an intelligent, versatile and fully programmable communications gateway for product designers and integrators. It responds to the need to communicate between heterogeneous equipment equipped with a serial, CAN or Ethernet interface, whose protocols are different and often incompatible.
ISI-GTW enables both sides to communicate using standardized or proprietary protocols, and to read, interpret, process, manipulate and write data to ensure communication between two devices that don't speak the same language.
Comprehensive hardware and software offering:
ISI-GTW is built around an STM32F207 processor (Cortex ARM M4) and a software environment comprising a real-time OS, low-level drivers for peripheral and I/O management, and the necessary communication stacks.
ISIT also offers a development environment that facilitates the implementation of the gateway, enabling users to develop their own applications.

Custom development
Drawing on its recognized skills in both industrial networks and embedded systems, ISIT can study your specifications and propose a customized solution using ISI-GTW resources. ISIT then develops, produces and packages your customized, scalable gateway, whatever the quantity required and your timing constraints. The application software can be preloaded on delivery.
However, the board remains accessible for firmware modification via its JTAG interface. It features protected inputs/outputs and extensions such as USB, an SD memory slot and DIP-switch contacts.

Board format:
ISI-GTW can be inserted into a case. 4 holes are provided for fixing with spacers. Terminal block-type connectors are recommended for easy wiring in the case (Ref: ISI-GTW-PCB).
Box format:
The ISI-GTW is also available in an aluminum case. This configuration offers the mechanical and electrical protection needed to integrate the ISI-GTW into an electrical cabinet (Ref: ISI-GTW-CASE). The unit is simply clipped onto a DIN rail. DB9” type connectors are used to simplify and secure links between the various devices.

All that remains to be done is to create the software specific to the processing of your data and processes, not accessible with conventional gateways available on the market, which do not offer the possibility of programming in C/C++ in a multitasking environment.
